An evaluation of the client's current base salary and/or incentive compensation programs are conducted to determine their overall effectiveness. In addition,
each program is tested for compliance with the Fair Labor Standards Act and equal employment opportunity statutes.

The client's existing compensation program is analyzed to determine program effectiveness. Recommendations for modifications are provided to maximize
the use of client payroll dollars and to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.
- Job Analysis and Job Description Development

Jobs are analyzed to determine their essential elements, and when appropriate, interviews are conducted to assist in this process. Job descriptions are
written or updated to include the essential elements of exempt and/or nonexempt jobs. These job descriptions provide documentation of reporting
relationships, critical job specifications, job duties and responsibilities, and performance accountabilities.

Jobs are evaluated utilizing point factor, factor comparison, and/or market pricing methods in order to properly align positions within the client company and
establish internal equity.
- Federal Wage and Hour Exemption Status Determination

Jobs are analyzed and tested under federal regulations to determine appropriate exempt or nonexempt wage and hour classification. Proper determination
assists the client company in complying with minimum wage, overtime, and recordkeeping regulations.
- Wage and Hour Compliance Audit and Audit Assistance

The client's compensation practices, including overtime calculation, wage deductions, and time records are reviewed. A report is then submitted to
management providing recommendations to ensure compliance with wage and hour requirements. In the event of an audit by the Wage and Hour Division,
assistance and guidance is provided throughout the audit process.
- Base Compensation Structure Development / Installation

A complete base salary administration program is developed using a blend of internal job analyses and external market analyses or through straight market
pricing methods. Salary ranges or salary grades are developed to provide management with an effective tool for administering salaries.
- Incentive Compensation Plan Development / Installation

Variable compensation plans are developed to maximize employee productivity and reward outstanding employee performance.
- Executive Compensation Analysis / Plan Development

Existing executive compensation plans are reviewed for soundness. New plans are developed to ensure that the client has a competitive and cost effective
total compensation program for top management positions.
- Compensation Surveys

Surveys of compensation practices/levels are conducted on selected positions, industries, and/or geographical areas which are of interest to the client.
Surveyed information is statistically analyzed and summarized in a client report.
